LGBTQIA+ BAJA DIVE EXPEDITION

January 5-11, 2026

An inclusive, fun-filled Baja diving adventure

Azul Unlimited is dedicated to making SCUBA diving accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we are excited to offer our second LGBTQIA+ dive expedition to beautiful Baja in 2026! We’ve designed this expedition with our queer and trans community in mind to provide a safe, fun, and community-building experience.

We’ll visit world class dive sites in Los Cabos at the southern tip of Baja California Sur, Mexico. The region is a hotspot for marine biodiversity, featuring hundreds of tropical reef fish, sharks, marine mammals, and stunning sea caves, reefs, and beaches. Plus we’ll travel to La Paz to snorkel with sea lions and whale sharks, and go whale watching.

For SCUBA newbies, we are offering an Open Water Course with queer instructors immediately prior to this expedition. Upon completion, newly certified divers can join the expedition activities (with the exception of the night dive).

Expedition Details

Participants spend 6 nights in the Cabo Vista Hotel in downtown Cabo San Lucas (plus 2 additional nights for those enrolled in the Open Water Course). Dive days will include: Cabo San Lucas Marine Park (including 1 night dive), the Corridor, and the famous Cabo Pulmo. We’ll also take a day trip to La Paz for the opportunity to snorkel with whale sharks, the Isla Espiritu Santo sea lion colony, and sometimes even mobula rays! On the last day before your flight, you’ll join a boat trip to see the humpback whales who traveled from the north to spend their winters around Baja.
